The Winnipeg Jets have placed forward Morgan Barron on the injured reserve, retroactive to Jan. 28, and HC Scott Arniel has announced him week-to-week.

The Montreal Canadiens are dealing with several potential roster changes following their recent game. Defenseman Kaiden Guhle’s status is uncertain after suffering what looks like a leg injury, while forward Kirby Dach also left the game following a nasty collision.

Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Arniel announced on Thursday that center Morgan Barron is week-to-week with an upper-body injury. According to Arniel, Barron sustained the injury during the Jets’ 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens during a massive hit on Kirby Dach late in the third period.
