FIS, a leading global financial technology company, expects to open its new world headquarters by June 2022 in Jacksonville's Brooklyn neighborhood.

Financial services technology company FIS is investing $2 million to expand in Jacksonville, FL creating 250 jobs in the process.

About 500 jobs will be created in Jacksonville after FIS builds its new, expanded headquarters in the city's Urban Core, according to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

“ We are excited that FIS has chosen to expand its headquarters presence and employee base in Jacksonville,” said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The combined company will be based in Jacksonville, Florida, where FIS is headquartered. Norcross will continue as CEO and chairman.
