The Highland Lakes fire was burning on nearly 90 acres as of 7 p.m. Monday with no containment, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

South Stump Tavern Road, which contains mostly spaced out single-family homes, is closed. Fire trucks and bulldozers have been deployed to the area, the state Forest Fire Service said. Evacuated residents who need a place to stay can go the township’s senior center on Don Connor Boulevard, Jackson police said.

Evacuations have been lifted for a Northern Colorado wildfire that burned close to homes northwest of Fort Collins.

As of Tuesday at 2:04 p.m., mandatory evacuations were in place in Larimer County as responders battle a wildfire.
