New York Jets coach Aaron Glenn made his first remarks in his new role on Monday at his introductory press conference, and he didn’t hold back. While talking about the potentially bumpy road ahead for New York, the former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator made sure to drive in the idea that the franchise is ready for whatever may come.

The Jets made a blockbuster trade for Rodgers — a future Hall of Famer and one of the greatest quarterbacks ever — before the 2023 season. But the trade has been a disaster. Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon in his first game of 2023. Then, in 2024, he looked at times like a declining player, as he started every game and the Jets went 5-12.
