The much-talked-about pairing of Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz fell to an early exit in the US Open’s mixed doubles competition on Tuesday, losing their first-round match and failing to win a set.

The much-hyped pairing of Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu was bounced in the first round of the new U.S. Open mixed doubles event on Tuesday.

Raducanu has already attempted to shut down speculation about the pair dating and led fans to believe the pairing is only friends. Outspoken player and commentator Nick Kyrgios suggested that Alcaraz and Draper could be "fighting over Raducanu" in a "love triangle."
