Accessorized with sapphire and diamond statement earrings from Chopard, diamond rings from the brand, a $5,995 Judith Leiber Couture lipstick clutch and peep-toe platform heels, the look was, in a word, bold. She upped the ante by applying her red lipstick on the red carpet.

Doja last hit the VMAs stage in 2023, when she performed a medley of hits from her album, Scarlet, including “Attention,” “Paint the Town Red,” and “Demons.” She also hosted the show and defied gravity when she sang Planet Her ’s “Been Like This” and “You Right” in 2021.

It was the first televised performance of her song. She wore an ’80s-inspired look.

Since her rise to fame, Doja has had only one public relationship, and that was with singer Jawny (formerly Johnny Utah). He caught Doja’s eye not long after he released his breakout single, “Honeypie,” in April 2019, and although Doja didn’t particularly like the song, she did like the look of him.
