Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson is heading to the NFL draft after leading the Southeastern Conference in rushing and setting a handful of school records.

Sampson announced via social media Friday that he would be bypassing his senior season with the Volunteers, which followed a junior year in which he set a Tennessee single-season rushing record with 1,491 yards and earned honors as the Southeastern Conference offensive player of the year.

Dylan Sampson was the 2024 SEC Offensive Player of the Year after one of the best seasons for a running back in Tennessee football history.

Sampson's 22 touchdowns are the most in school history, breaking a 95-year record. His 1,485 rushing yards are also a school record.
