The Getty Villa Museum in Los Angeles, notable for its ancient art, has reopened to the public after post-wildfire cleanup and restoration of its grounds.
The Getty Villa, separate from the main museum in Brentwood, was designed by Robert E Langdon Jr and Ernest C Wilson Jr, opened in 1974 and has since been renovated.
The museum is open with limited hours for now, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Mondays. It’s free to visit, but advance reservations are required.
