Dozens of the guinea pigs were found by the organization’s officers during a rescue operation at an RV home in Ocean Beach earlier this month

The San Diego Humane Society is urgently seeking new homes for its guinea pigs after it recovered more than 50 guinea pigs last week from an mobile home in Ocean Beach.

"We know the 51 guinea pigs in that RV were very well taken care of, they are all healthy, the space was basically set up for them," Frey said.
