A new documentary and a celebration at the Wolf Pack game Saturday mark the 50th birthday of the Whalers, Hartford’s long-gone NHL franchise.

The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack will celebrate 50 years of professional hockey in Hartford this upcoming Saturday at the XL Center.
