Jamie Lee Curtis’ decision to donate to wildfire relief efforts amid the ongoing Palisades and Eaton fires in Southern California has led many fans to wonder why the gesture hasn’t reverberated on a wider scale within the Hollywood community.

"It's f***ing gnarly, you guys. It’s just a catastrophe," the actress said Wednesday night, later posting on Instagram that she was in touch with California Gov. Gavin Newsom about where funds are needed.
