"Full House" icon John Stamos is to replace Josh Gad, who has COVID, in this weekend's production of the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Hollywood Bowl.

John Stamos is slipping into the golden slippers of King Herod just hours before the curtain comes up on Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. Stamos’s last minute casting comes after Josh Gad announced yesterday that he would no longer occupy the throne on opening night.

After announcing that he tested positive for COVID just a few days ago, Josh Gad took to social media again to say that he has tested negative and will return for the final show on Sunday. See more details here!
