The dining world’s prestigious Michelin Guide on Wednesday named 13 more restaurants in California as “new discoveries” — a prelude to the release of its 2025 guide for the golden state. The additions come two months month after 15 restaurants in the state were honored as new finds.

The Michelin Guide has added 13 new restaurants to its California list, including three in the Bay Area. Korean restaurant Sungho was the only San Francisco addition to the list, which also added two other Bay Area winners: Ethel's Fancy in Palo Alto and Indian restaurant Eylan in Menlo Park.

On Wednesday the company behind the global dining compendium added 13 restaurants to its California guide, with three in the L.A. area.
