CLEVELAND, Ohio - While cold temperatures will continue to stick around, the area will get a break from the snow on Thursday.

With cold air in place, scattered lake effect snow will develop overnight. Expect hit-or-miss snow showers through the day tomorrow. Where squalls persist, an additional one to three inches of snowfall may occur. Wednesday will be frigid with wind chill temperatures in the teens all day!

The National Weather Service’s forecast for tomorrow calls for mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of morning snow showers. Skies will show some gradual clearing throughout the day with overnight lows dropping into the mid teens. Thursday will see sunshine returns with highs around 24 degrees.
