The divisional round of the NFL playoffs is now set. In the NFC, the second-seeded Philadelphia Eagles will host the third-seeded Los Angeles Rams, while the sixth-seeded Washington Commanders will travel to Detroit to face the top-seeded Lions.

During the early window of Sunday's wild-card action, the Buffalo Bills defended their home turf at Highmark Stadium and sent the Denver Broncos packing with a 31–7 victory. Bo Nix and the Broncos got on the board early, taking a 7–0 lead before surrendering 31 straight points to the Josh Allen-led Bills offense.

The Eagles faced the Rams on Nov. 24 in Los Angeles, winning 37-20. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley rushed for a franchise record 255 yards in that game. The Eagles and Rams last met in the playoffs in the NFC Championship game in Jan. 2002. The Rams, then based in St. Louis, won 29-24.
