Johntay Cook, a DeSoto product who spent his first two years with the Texas Longhorns, will transfer to the University of Washington, per 247Sports.

Things are great on the field, but off of the field, the Longhorns lost a talented player to the transfer portal earlier this year. Former 5-star wide receiver Johntay Cook announced in the middle of the season that he would be leaving Texas and searching for a new team.
