The main singles draw at the US Open does not start until this weekend but the mixed doubles are already well underway. The first round of matches took place last night with Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz teaming up on the court. They were dumped out in the very first round by Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula, who progressed to the semi-finals.

British number one and 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu has brought in yet another coach; this time she has called for the help of Francisco Roig, who was the alternate coach for 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal.
