More than 7,400 people gathered at Colorado State University on Thursday evening to memorialize Charlie Kirk, the late conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA. Kirk was scheduled to speak on the Fort Collins campus on Thursday,

UPDATE: The second suspect in the Charlie Kirk vigil disturbance at Graffiti Bridge case has surrendered. Larry Wayne Hopkins of Pace, Florida, turned himself in Wednesday, Escambia County Jail records show. Hopkins, 49, is facing felony battery charges and is being held on no bond. He has a court appearance scheduled Oct. 10.
