Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards exited with a sprained left ankle midway through the 2nd quarter against Golden State on Thursday, before returning for the second half of Game 2 of their second-round series.

Anthony Edwards struggled in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals, and that led to Minnesota coach Chris Finch taking him to task for his lack of energy, especially in the first half of its 11-point loss to Golden State.

The Minnesota Timberwolves looked impressive at times in their first-round playoff series victory against the Los Angeles Lakers. But they have stumbled in Game 1 of the second round against the Golden State Warriors.
