Julius Randle is staying put. The former Knicks forward, who was traded to the Timberwolves in the Karl-Anthony Towns deal right before the start of training camp last year, is set to sign a new three-year, $100 million contract to remain with Minnesota, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Sunday.

Randle and the Wolves agreed to a three-year, $100 million deal that features a player option in the third year, a source confirmed. ESPN first reported the agreement.

Julius Randle was set to decide whether to opt in or opt out of a $31 million player option on Sunday. On Saturday, the Wolves and Randle were working hard to get a deal done before the deadline hit.
