In the first year of KHSAA sanctioning, Northern Kentucky's boys volleyball charge is led by the undefeated Ryle Raiders.

Kent was the leading player on offense and on defense and helped guide the Panthers to a sectional title. He is The Republic Boys Basketball Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Burns came to Kent State from an assistant job at Minnesota and went 1-23 over two seasons, including 0-12 this past fall.
