Kevin Durant has become the eighth player in NBA history to score 30,000 points. The Phoenix Suns All-Star reached the milestone on a free throw in the third quarter of Tuesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

“He’s special,” said Olajuwon, who is 13 th on the all-time scoring list with 26,946 points. “I like his game a lot. I tell my kids to watch him play. His dribble, his ball-handling skills. He’s a big guard. It’s a blessing to have that size. That makes it easy for him. How are they going to guard him?”
