Two attorneys representing Rudy Giuliani in a lawsuit related to a $148 million defamation judgment against him have asked a judge to remove them from the case over disagreements with the former New York City mayor.

As the threat of civil contempt hangs over their client’s head, attorneys for Rudy Giuliani told a judge they want to stop representing him in a case involving a $148 million debt Giuliani owes to two election workers he defamed in 2020.

The request comes one day before the former Trump attorney is supposed to turn over property and financial records to the two election workers he defamed.

It appears that Rudy Giuliani’s attorneys no longer want to represent him in his $148 million defamation judgement he owes two Fulton County election workers. On Wednesday, Kenneth Caruso filed a motion to have him and fellow attorney David Labkowski removed over a “fundamental disagreement” with their client.
