The company behind the recall, HP Hood LLC, is recalling all 96-ounce containers of Lactaid whole milk, fat-free milk, 2% milk, 1% milk, and 2% Calcium Enriched milk shipped to retailers and wholesalers between 09/05/24 and 09/18/24.

Lactaid milk because the product may contain trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Some units of Lactaid milk are being recalled in several states, including in New York, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). HP Hood LLC is recalling five units of 96-ounce containers of Lactaid Milk, because the product may contain trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label.

The recall applies to a limited number of plastic containers of Lactaid Milk, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

A voluntary recall of Lactaid Milk has been issued by HP Hood LLC after a possible almond allergen was discovered. The FDA made the announcement on Friday.
