American Idol favorites Slater Nalley and Thunderstorm Artis were eliminated from the singing competition on Monday. The two singer-songwriters went home after 19 million viewers cast their votes during the second night of Disney performances on ABC.

“I felt like I went out there and I gave it the best that I could,” Artis says. “It was such a beautiful night to be able to do a second round of Disney songs. It was so special. Getting a standing ovation for both of them was just a blessing.”

Roughly 19 million votes from “American Idol” viewers have determined which contestants will face off in Sunday’s final showdown.
