Holland America Line, the cruise line with the longest history of exploring Alaska, announced a $70 million capital investment that will expand guest capacity while elevating the line’s Denali property experience and enhancing its popular land and sea Cruisetours.

HAL is planning a $70 million expansion over the next three years, including the construction of a new guestroom building.

Holland America Line plans to will invest $70 million in a multi-year expansion of its Denali Lodge and Alaska Cruisetours product. The investment will be used to expand guest capacity and improve facilities at the Denali Lodge. Work will start in 2025, with additional enhancements taking place in 2026 and 2027.

The cruise line revealed it will invest $70 million in the property during the next three years, enhancing guest rooms, public spaces, and restaurants. Denali Lodge was previously called McKinley Chalet Resort.
