In stifling heat, the Eagles began their second week of training camp wearing shoulder pads for the first time.
Backup quarterback Tanner McKee sailed a pass to Avery Williams in the right corner of the end zone, but he also completed difficult throws to Johnny Wilson and Danny Gray.
WR DeVonta Smith (back stiffness) and S Drew Mukuba (shoulder) sat out practice on July 28, as did LB Smael Mondon (illness) and WR Danny Gray (finger). The following were limited: LB Jihaad Campbell (shoulder), DT Jalen Carter (shoulder), G Kenyon Green (knee), and C Cam Jurgens (back).
