Residents of Eagle Rock, a neighborhood of Los Angeles that borders Pasadena, have received evacuation warnings. In addition to the Eaton fire, there is a smaller blaze burning in nearby Scholl Canyon. It is sending huge clouds of smoke over the neighborhood as dawn breaks.

Tens of thousands were evacuated as nearly 16,000 acres burned in the uncontrolled Palisades Fire in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles.
