The Washington Commanders signed one former Miami Dolphins wide receiver just one day after Terry McLaurin requested a trade amid the contract standoff.

Last year, McLaurin was rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ' favorite target in a revamped offense. McLaurin reeled in 82 of his 117 targets for 1,096 yards and 13 touchdowns, which were both career highs. That helped the Commanders go from 4-13 to 12-5 in just one year.

The Los Angeles Chargers are still on the lookout for another receiver. Ladd McConkey established himself as the top option in the room, following his 1,149 yard rookie season in 2024. The Chargers drafted Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith, as well as banking on a third-year leap from Quentin Johnston.
