The erotic thriller Babygirl explores sexuality and workplace power dynamics in an opposite way to Nicole Kidman's 2019 movie based on real events.

Nicole Kidman pays homage to her 'Babygirl' character Romy by drinking from a glass of milk while accepting an award at the National Board of Review Gala in New York on Tuesday.

While Kidman’s character Romy didn’t wear a pup hood or bark in Babygirl, the dog imagery intermixed with the Dom (me)/sub dynamics throughout the film felt at the very least like a nod to puppy play. (She eats that treat out of Samuel’s hand as he literally pets her!)
