Powerball costs $2 per play with an option of selecting a Power Play for an extra $1. In two states, Idaho and Montana, the Power Play is not optional, with each game costing $3.

More than 1.1 million Powerball tickets sold in the United States won prizes ranging from $4 to $2 million, the lottery said.

The Powerball jackpot has yet again grown after no ticket was able to match the numbers drawn Wednesday night.

The last time the cash prize was over $600 million was on April 6, 2024 when a winning ticket in Oregon hit the billion-dollar jackpot.
