Soap opera star Tristan Rogers, who is best known for his longtime role on “General Hospital,” has died. His manager confirmed his death in a statement on Friday, Aug. 15. He was 79.

His arrival was perfectly timed — Scorpio was immediately thrust into the heart of one of the soap’s most iconic storylines: Luke Spencer’s ( Anthony Geary) legendary quest for the Ice Princess.
