Thomas Müller is expected to land in Vancouver soon, and when he does, he'll do so as the highest-paid player in Whitecaps history.

Now, according to Give Me Sport, the Whitecaps are finalizing a deal to sign Müller. This comes following an earlier report on by Manuel Veth from Transfermarkt, who stated that the Whitecaps had come to a preliminary agreement with FC Cincinnati for the discovery rights.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC agreed to send general allocation money to FC Cincinnati for Thomas Muller's discovery rights, a league source told UPI on Tuesday.
