It seems moving from the whole primary system thing to a more account focused system has opened up more features for those who gameshare which is nice.

I feel that for PS5 to have a smooth conversions from the ps4, 4 years ago, the disk drive was crucial. Your ps5 plays ps4 disks after all.

Oct 12, 2024 · At 10% of lifetime sales, if the PS5 sells 120 million units, that would mean the PS5 Pro sold 12 million units. 12 million units over 4-5 years is 2.4 to 3 million units per year. Presumably the most units would happen in its launch year as numbers tapper off.
