Craig Walsh is an artist, curator and creative producer. Over the last 30 years, Australian artist Craig Walsh has become widely known Internationally for his pioneering approaches to site- responsive installations and projection mapping in unconventional sites.

Craig Walsh’s Monuments is a site-responsive, outdoor video installation that has been realised across Australia and internationally. Since the first tree projection in 1993, Monuments installation have continued to evolve and captivate new audiences as they occupy new landscapes and engage with different communities.

Aug 31, 2022 · In the mid-nineties, Australian artist Craig Walsh created his first projection at Woodford Folk Festival in Queensland. Made with photographic slides, the massive installation temporarily transformed a tree into a large-scale portrait, enlivening the canopy and initiating what’s become a 30-year project.
