The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. was formed in 1986 to fill the critical need of providing a forum where area business leaders could broaden their sphere of influence through sharing, learning, debating, and coalescing around pressing economic issues.

The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. is proud to award the prestigious David M. Rubenstein/Economic Club of Washington, D.C. Scholarship to 50 graduating seniors from D.C. public and public charter high schools. Now in its sixteenth year, this program has awarded nearly $12 million to 761 scholars.
