Jun 2, 2021 · I hope this takes off. My dash is pretty cracked. Every time I go into the dash a bunch of cracked plastic bits fall out. I’ve replaced a lot of the broken plastic structure with sheet metal. It looks factory from the exterior, with nice plastic, but it’s covering a metal endoskeleton. Eventually I think I’ll need a better solution.

Jun 2, 2021 · If you get on original dash out of a junker, you'll have the same problems as the one you're replacing. The new upper dash pad I bought from the dealer probably 10 years ago is holding up much better than the factory one did in my 2001. You're going to pay more for shipping because of size not weight.

Based on the speaker configuration, since I believe the stock crossover passes mids to the doors, full range won't be as pronounced and the dash ones will be the controlling speaker, smaller ones won't hurt the sound. May 9, 2024 · Hard to believe this is still happing on newer vehicles. You would think it would have been resolved after all the years happening with these dash boards coming up. I had the same thing happen on my 2011 grand cherokee overland. It was one of the main reasons I got rid of it at the time. Complete eye sore to look at. Glad yours was taken care of.

(2) Because the reflection off of the Camel tan color onto the windshield was insane, had to do something to be able to see clearly out the windshield.

Mar 10, 2023 · The battery on my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited crapped out on me yesterday after owning it since brand new (approx 3 yrs 9 months). I found a decent replacement at Costco for $185, so I pulled the battery out of the truck and drove down to Costco in my other vehicle to swap them out. Got home and installed the battery (very easy).
