Jul 18, 2022 · The early/mid 2000s is not old enough to be "retro", file sizes are relatively large compared to 90s games (thanks to the explosion of DVD media), a lot of them are still tied up with companies trying to do remakes/remasters, many of them were bad ports and weren't even offered digitally, etc... finding that era of PC games can be a pain.

I have 300MB to 500MB download based on how my ISP is feeling, yet Xbox usually downloads at 3MB/S to 10MB/s, Steam and Epic downloads at 40-60.

Fix for slow speed when you download a game from Epic games
Jul 28, 2020 · In the epic games launcher, Go to settings, click Throttle Downloads set it to a big number like 100,000. I was getting 0.4 -1 MB's before doing that. Bumped up to 10 MB's after. Thats the only thing I changed. Play around with the number. 200,000 actually gave me worse speed. I know it shouldn't work.
