This box is great. When I first bought in to Packout I didn’t want the rolling tool chest because you have to unstack all the boxes to get in to the bottom box. So I got the dolly and put the drawers on it. But the dolly is kinda hard to maneuver. I just got it today and haven’t used it for work yet but I’ve got high hopes for it. The one thing I really don’t like though is where the lock hole is located. You still have to unstack all the boxes to be able to get the padlock on and off which is a huge bummer. Especially considering there is plenty of room to move out over to the left one inch where the feet from the box on top of it would not be in the way. I can’t see any reason why the hole could not have been moved over but instead they put it right under where the feet latch on. I took away one star for that, almost took away two stars because to me that’s kind of a big deal. Where I work there is a lot of theft that goes on so I don’t want to leave my box unlocked. But now I still have to unstack all the boxes every time I want to get a tool out or put one away. I’m honestly considering going with a different platform for storage now because of that one minor detail, which isn’t really all that monitors minor.

I had been using the packout dolly with drawers on it but it has always been kind of hard to move around. I got this last week and it is much easier to move around plus half of my tools fit inside. I put the multi depth three drawer box on top of it. One thing I don’t like is that the hole you put the padlock through is covered up and inaccessible with the three drawer box on top of it. The whole reason I got this setup was so I didn’t have to unstack the boxes to get tools out of it. Theirs is a lot of theft at the apartment complex I work at so I don’t like the idea of leaving my box unlocked. So I still have to unstack the, every time I need a tool. I did find a lock that covers the latch on Etsy for about $30 with shipping so won’t be a huge deal. It still sucks though after spending $250 on the box I still had to turn around and spend another thirty and wait a month before I can actually start using it at work considering if Milwaukee would have just moved the hole over to the left a half an inch it would have solved the problem entirely. Kind of a big oversight on milwaukee’s part since that hole being covered defeats the entire purpose of this tool box.

I received this last year for Christmas. I saw it when I was picking up some nuts and bolts. It has been a miracle toolbox for me as I move around the property a lot. I strap it into my tractor bucket and it has most of what I use. It is not without its flaws. I can't get into the bottom box without taking the whole thing apart on box at a time. At almost 70 it's killing me. The bottom box is worthless to me. If it had a door that opened out well then you'd have the most perfect toolbox a man could own I do like that I can roll it into the house instead of in and out to the garage. Still that bottom box is worthless. In a perfect world I could remove it and put a couple large boxes in it's place to hold drills, hammers, and some more of my Milwaukee cordless tools. I forgot it and it sat in the rain for two days. Not a drop of water in the box. One more thing. If you want to lock all the boxes you'll need to do it one at a time then stack, then lock then stack. If you need something out of a lower box you'll need to take it apart.

I've waited so long for this item to come to my Home Depot and I couldn't be happier that I finally got it. It has a large drawer which is heavy duty it doesn't feel cheap. Its got rollers on the bottom drawer that make it a pleasure when pulling the drawer out and then sliding it back in even with weight. The amount of room the drawer has is amazing and the dividers are nice. The only thing I noticed is that the handle feels loose at the bottom while at full extension but its not terrible. It sits taller then the other packouts so you must check your measurements on your truck bed if you have a cover because it won't close because it sits taller the sides of the bed. Overall I still give it a 5/5 even for the little imperfection with the handle.

I bought this yesterday and it has been the perfect addition to my packout collection. It stores my m18 supercharger, transfer pump, tire inflator, 6 1/2” saw and 4 pipe wrenches with some room leftover. Perfect for those big items that don’t fit in other pack outs. The drawer is super easy to use and doesn’t get off rail even if you pull it all the way or are rough with it. Definitely can withstand 250 pounds like it says and I go as far as to say 300 pounds. Of course the main reason for this is so you don’t have to take off the other pack outs to get to the bottom which is huge for me since the other pack outs I have weigh 50 pounds each. Super mobile and carry’s the weight well!

I finally broke down and got one of these when my local store had them in stock! My back ain’t what it used to be, so I now use this for my most frequently used large tools (1/2” impact, sawzall, long blades, etc.) so I don’t have to un-stack the top load roller every time I need them. Top load roller has been relegated to less frequently used tools. Comes with some nice dividers and a tray. I thought this would be unnecessary at first, but they are quite useful. I also like that it fits under the tonneau cover of my truck without having to lay it down or get the low profile handle. Kinda pricey, but worth it in the end!

The sliding drawer is a game changer for the Milwaukee pack out system. Upgraded from another pack out specifically for the sliding drawer. It’s smooth and so far no issues with heavy tools inside. Plenty of storage space and no longer have to unstack the pack out to access tools on the bottom. 250lb weight capacity and rugged tough to handle job sites. The wheels are beefy and the backside has a foot insert to tilt and roll a fully weighted and stacked pack out. Highly recommend, worth the extra dollars over the original base for the convenience of a pullout drawer.

This rolling drawer toolbox is probably the best option for the Packout base. No more needing to remove multiple layers of Packout just to get to the tools I need. The drawer opens and closes nicely, and there's plenty of space for several tools and accessories. I can fit my circular saw, impact driver, multi-tool, hacksaw, random orbital sander, and three batteries with ease. I use the M18 battery toolbox side attachment inside to store my batteries safely for on the go. Another top product from milwaukee.

I’ve had my boxes on the dolly but it’s impossible to get up steps so this should really improve my setup. The price has probably gone up because of tariffs. That’s a bummer but if it saves me a few seconds per day in productivity, it’s worth the extra money. Less productive people should stick with the green tools.

The 2-drawer module is an excellent addition to the 22 inch PACKOUT system. The drawers are deep and come with dividers that you can configure as needed or to not use at all. Built with durable materials including metal drawer glides that have a closed detent strong enough to keep it closed with moving it around.

Great update from Milwaukee. I was debating on by it because I already have the original. I’m glad I bought this, the drawer makes it easy to grab something from the bottom bin without having to remove anything that is on top of it. The box is taller than the original and the handle drops flush with the bin.

Great box and can carry much more equipment. It has been a job to use and make mobility much easier. It also fits now in my truck bed without the pogo pins I installed before. Great addition to the Packout series, I feel it's a great value for the money.

Love this box and all the hidden features it has! If you are going to buy this box and use it for Your hand tools you should expect To do some DIY Modifocations to it! But if you use your imagination, you can make a really awesome toolbox!

This has been a great organizational tool for my trailer. The drawer rails are smooth and operate nicely. The metal lock is especially useful during transport.\n\nHowever, I was quite disappointed with one issue. I have five Packout drawers at the bottom of each stack, with each stack holding 3-5 additional Packout items. They can get pretty heavy. The metal lock becomes really difficult to push in or pull out, and I suspect the weight is the cause.\n\nAdditionally, the plastic holder that keeps the metal locks in place breaks very easily. I reached out via phone and email but haven’t received a response yet, so I’m unsure about the lifetime warranty Milwaukee claims to offer.\n\nWould be great if Milwaukee could address these concerns!
