Surfing Margaret River in the 70s 🌊 Back then, Margaret River was a little-known coastal hamlet, but the surf was so big it inspired some surfers from South Australia to cross the border to experience these mystical waves of the west. Tom Wenhem was one of those surfers who crossed the border and never left, filming his experiences in the 70s on his Super 8 camera. Those videos are now screening at the Margaret River Heritage Festival. He told Stan Shaw on ABC South West Breakfast that the wave
