SpaceX just announced plans for Starbase, Louisiana. It will be built to support THOUSANDS of Starship flights per year. Construction will begin in 2027, and the first Starship launch will happen in 2029. SpaceX says Starbase, LA will be a self-sustaining spaceport with propellant production, power generation, deep-water shipping capabilities, vehicle processing facilities, and an airport.
