Bien avant que Fantastic Voyage ne devienne un hymne funk mondial, Lakeside était déjà une énergie brute, une bande déterminée à faire vibrer les scènes de l’Ohio. Le groupe naît à Dayton (haut lieu du funk, berceau de Zapp, Slave, Ohio Players…). La ville respire le groove… Au départ, ils s’appellent The Young Underground.
